DC Urban Agriculture Bill Could Encourage Farming With Tax Breaks. Earlier this year, District Council Members David Grosso and Mary Cheh introduced a piece of legislation called the DC Urban Agriculture and Food Security Act of 2014 that would not only provide a framework for urban ag, but actively encourage it while fostering the consumption of local foods by underprivileged residents. Beacon Food Forest（中文介紹）[西雅圖食物森林創辦人訪臺] 新竹分享會（摘自 John Liu）西雅圖經驗重點整理：原本以為植栽配置的設計會是食物森林規劃的重點，結果發現它最終的種植成果和最早的設計是有一段落差，理由是社區參與過程中的溝通妥協與折衝。整個推動過程的重點是在社區營造，然後才是土壤和作物。決策方式有二，農場的大事用共識決、現場操作的小事投票表決。工作派對一定要帶小孩和食物，每次的活動都要為孩子設計他們可以參與的活動！這件事很重要，非常值得我們深入研究！

Sustain 是以英國地區為組織基礎的民間機構，成立於 1999 年，包含國際成員網絡與英國境內各個區域的地區型組織，該機構關注食物與環境永續議題，並且納入市民福祉、動物福利、社會生活層面等面向，推動更適切的食物與農耕政策與實踐方案，致力透過食物議題推動社會文化的內涵，以及彰顯食物可被落實的公平正義之價值。
London Food Link（倫敦食物網絡）是 Sustain 於倫敦地區成立的地區型組織，致力於將 Sustain 理念推展於大倫敦市層級，透過具體的活動與法案倡議等方式。以下介紹 London Food Link 兩個行動計畫：捲動市民實踐都市農耕的 Capital Growth 計畫，以及屬於食物公共政策研究的 Good Food for London 研究計畫。
Capital Growth http://www.capitalgrowth.org/ Capital Growth 計畫主要目標在於建立都市農耕支持網絡，推廣超過 2000 個園圃空間，包含學校、社區公共空間、機構內空間、都市農業經營者等。這項計畫由 London Food Link、倫敦市長辦公室、City Bridge Trust（城市進展信託）三方資源所支持，且得到 London Food Board（倫敦食物委員會）同意執行。除了實體的輔助措施之外，計畫推展過程運用透過一個公開的線上地圖，市民可以於地圖上尋找身邊營運中的園圃，也可以查找正在徵求志願者的園圃，並實際聯絡該園圃。以此形成協力的平台。推廣耕耘作物的同時，這項計畫也十分強調「促進健康 Growing Health」以及「建立經營組織 Growing Enterprise」，豐富都市農耕行為的定位。英國另一個民間團體亦發起 landshare 媒合平台，媒合耕種空間與有意願耕種的人，但目前已暫停運作。
行動計畫案例：Good Food for London 倫敦市長辦公室曾於 2006 年提出 Healthy and Sustainable Food for London The Mayor’s Food Strategy，即試圖從宏觀角度針對都市食物議題進行盤點分析，並以 2016 為目標年，制定 10 年內的行動方案（資料來源：https://www.london.gov.uk/sites/default/files/the_mayors_food_strategy_2006.pdf）。五年後，從 2011 開始，London Food Link 持續每年針對倫敦食物議題現況進行分析，並提出改善建議，議題分析層級採用至自治區層級，大倫敦地區共有 33 個自治區行政區劃單元。基於倫敦的行政制度，自治區有權責針對區內公共事務提出對策，而食物議題涉及各項局處業務，故 Good Food for London 提出具體的食物議題項目，並且檢視單一自治區對此議題整體投入狀況，持續每年完成 33 個自治區的檢視工作。研究成果多運用地圖、各區議題現況表格、議題專業者提供分析意見等方式，向公眾與公務機構展示、促進對話與討論。
London Food Board 「倫敦食物委員會」設置於 2004 年，委員會可以向市長與倫敦市政府提出食物議題的各項建言，委員會組織包含民間獨立的食物政策議題團體與食物領域專家。主要工作內容，聚焦於倫敦市長辦公室於 2006 年提出 Healthy and Sustainable Food for London The Mayor’s Food Strategy 的落實化。委員會組成包含民間委員，也包含市府內的食物議題工作小組（City Hall’s Food Team），委員會每年共有兩次例會，以及兩個工作小組每季進行例會。另外，倫敦市政府近年也持續舉辦 Urban Food Awards 年度都市食物行動獎徵選與表彰活動，鼓勵都市中各種角色投身食物議題。（https://www.london.gov.uk/what-we-do/business-and-economy/food/london-food-board）
